Gotjawal Forest

Plant Energy from the Lungs of Jeju

The main ingredient of the Forest for Men series, "Black Yeast," creates a protective barrier for male customers' skin, restoring healthy skin.

1,540,000㎡

Gotjawal Forest covers an area of 1,540,000 square meters. A microorganism exists in the vines of the forest that produces substances to protect itself from external harm. The innisfree R&D team separated this microorganism from the plant, and after two fermentations, "Black Yeast" was born - creating a protective barrier for male customers' skin!

Protecting Jeju's Gotjawal Forest

Gotjawal Forest is a primeval forest located on the western side of Jeju Island, also known as the "Lungs of Jeju," playing a vital role in Jeju Island's ecosystem. Since 2012, innisfree has been dedicated to protecting the Gotjawal Forest and its ecosystem. Each year, the brand donates a portion of the Forest for Men series proceeds to the "Gotjawal Nationalization Group," using public welfare funds to promote the nationalization of Gotjawal, committed to protecting its integrity and preventing damage from reckless development.
